Welcome to Hopton Primary's Website.  I hope you are able to successfully navigate around the site to find the information that will help you to get to know our school.

Our school has been rated as being a good school by OFSTED, however, our school is so much more than a label given to us by a short inspection.  Our aim is to ensure that each child is able to be as successful as he/she can be, and then to ask for a little more. We set this in an environment where your child can feel safe and secure and have fun.

Our school is made stronger by the meaningful relationship we have with parents and carers.  Whilst we may not always agree, we will always listen and look for solutions to any issue or need.  We will always put the needs of each individual child at the forefront of any decisions we make.  As such, we encourage parents and carers to contact us for information and where there is a concern.

I am proud of our school and as head teacher of Hopton Primary I strongly value the ethic of teamwork across all aspects of the school.  I believe that together we are stronger, and that we can succeed and develop together as a community school.  We use our Golden Principles of Effort, Respect and Honesty to create the opportunity to shine in all areas of school life.

The children and staff in school constantly amaze me with their commitment and the quality of their work; I hope that in this site you are able to see some of that effort and success which everyone at Hopton contributes to and which makes us an outstanding school.
