Forget me not children's hospice charity run

Children took part in a campaign started by Forget Me Not children's hospice where they wanted to raise money by asking Kirklees schools to run a mile. These miles joined together would contribute to 24,901 miles which is the circumference of the world.
All children from nursery to year 6 took part in the charity day and ran one mile each.
Children could either; walk, run, jog, skip or dance their way around.
Some staff members even joined in and everyone had a great time, showing great determination and resilience.
We raised a grand total of £574.20 for the charity.
