We have recently changed our Phonics scheme to ensure fidelity to one scheme, ensuring a fully systematic approach from the start of F2 into Key Stage 1. From Foundation 2 to Year 2 we have introduced the ‘Little Wandle Revised Letters and Sounds’ phonics scheme. This scheme introduces the children to the letters, sounds and tricky words needed to support early reading and writing development.
