Reporting School Absences

If you need to report a school absence please use the following methods of informing us:

• Phone school on 01924 489 736 and inform us of the absence.

• Phone school on 01924 489 736 and leave a message on the answerphone

• Email us on - office.hopton@kirkleeseducation.uk

• Let us know in person by coming to the reception window and telling the office staff

• Send in a letter, especially for known absences such as medical appointments (please bring in the appointment letter)

Please remember that we need a reason for absences and that we have a duty to follow up on any unknown absences through our own procedures.  You can also now notify us using the RM Parent Portal App.
