We are going to continue looking into our Stone Age topic. I have found for you a PowerPoint telling you about the clothing that they would have had available to them. Have you any ideas already about what they would wear? Where would they get it from?
Go through the PowerPoint and then design your own Stone Age outfit. If you are able why not print out a picture of yourself and then create an outfit they you can stick onto your picture, so you can come from the Stone Age.

I hope you all slept well last night and have a clear head to continue our learning. We are going to continue working on our art skills. We are going to move on with our texturing skills in art 🖼. You will look at how you can create texture with your pencil, nothing fancy, just your pencil and using the skills that you are taught through the video, you will be asked to draw a view that you can see from your window. You will all be Vincent Van Gogh’s by the end of this.

Seeing as the weather is meant to be gorgeous today, let us continue with our light and shadows topic. I have uploaded a PowerPoint presentation that you can work through and look 👀 at the pictures and try to decide which direction the sun 🌞 must be in to create a shadow that falls in a particular direction. There is a task for you to create an object and to look at its shadow and then move it to different places to see if the shadow changes. Another variation of this that you could try, is to make the object but keep it in the same spot in your garden, draw its shadow on the ground using chalk or place a piece of paper 📝 behind it and draw with a pencil ✏️ onto it. Go out at different times of the day and draw where the shadow is now? What do you notice?

we are going to continue with learn how to code. From the same website that we have used previously I have found a slightly more challenging game for you to try. I had a play with it and it won’t take you long to get the hang of it. A helpful hint from me is to go slowly and keep running your program to see how far it gets you.

It’s PE day, I just hope that the sun is shining down on you tomorrow, as it is now on me (Sunday afternoon) whilst I am sat in my conservatory. Can you please continue to practice your throwing, catching and also now introducing batting skills. Now I am fully aware that you may not all have a bat and ball 🎾 at home, but you can use your rolled up socks from previous PE lessons and the palm of your hand makes a good base for a bat.You can adapt any of the ideas to use these instead. Have fun.
Don’t forget I love 💓 to see what you have been getting up to on ‘Class Dojo’.
