Maths

This week we are revising Roman Numerals, rounding, counting in 25's and negative numbers. Remember do as much as you can, however try not to get worried or feel stressed about your work. You will be trying your hardest.

Monday- Roman Numerals

You all loved learning the Roman Numerals back in October so lets see what you can remember.  Watch the song about Roman Numerals, read the PowerPoint and then have a go at the activity sheets. There is lots to do on the sheets so don't worry about doing it all.

Roman Numerals

Tuesday- Rounding to the nearest 1000

Watch the video and then have a go at the activity sheet. In the video the examples go up to some large numbers, the activity sheet doesn't use numbers as big but if you are feeling confident you could ask an adult to give you some bigger numbers.

Wednesday -Counting in 25's

This is revision of something we did mentally by counting around in 25's in small groups. This time have a look at the questions and try to answer them. If you need to make jottings or notes that is fine.

Thursday and Friday -Negative numbers

We only managed to do a little bit of work on negative numbers when you were in school, so hopefully you will develop your understanding with a little more practise.

Watch the video clip and then complete the activities ( remember we use £ not $smiley)
