Christmas is coming.....

The excitement in school is rising as Christmas is nearly upon us. All the children and staff have been busy working on the Christmas productions and I am pleased to report that all the dress rehearsals went well. I am sure that you are all looking forward to seeing your children in action.

Please remember to bring your tickets to gain entrance to the performances. Raffle tickets will be on sale at all the performances, good luck to all those who buy one.

Tea and coffee will be on sale in my room, as the weather is rather chilly at the moment we have prepared to be busy. Donations for tea, coffee and biscuits consumed on the day will be gratefully  received.

Our Christmas tree arrived earlier in the week. The children who attend breakfast club helped decorate it beautifully with only minimal rearrangement required to prevent the tree tippling over to one side. It was lovely to see the range of ages working together to decide which baubles to use and where to hang them. The hardest decision was whether to have an angel or a star on the top!

On Thursday, I accompanied F2 on their trip to see Santa at Cannon Hall Farm. We all had a wonderful day and were amazed when Santa actually joined us by coming down the chimney! It was definitely a magical experience enjoyed by all who attended.

Thank you for your continued support to school, I hope to see you all next week at the Christmas productions.
